Far Eastern fish market project has obtained support of the Russian Union of Commodity Producers and was discussed at the IX International Congress of fishermen

      In Vladivostok the delegation of the Russian Union of Commodity Producers (RUCP) led by RUCP President Oleg Soskovets, which came to the Far East at the invitation of ZAO " Dalnevostochnaya rybnaya birja " (ZAO "DVRB") and the Association of developers, manufacturers and suppliers of fish-processing systems and equipment (ADMSFPSE) finished its work.

According to the president of ZAO "DRVB" and ADMSFPSE Sergei Lelyukhin, delegation of the Russian Union of Commodity Producers in Vladivostok took part in the IX International Congress of fishermen, at which a report on the investment features of the development of the Far Eastern industry

Investment projects in the field of fish production and processing in the Far East

Firstly, the President of the RUCP suggested introducing protective duties on ready-made equipment for the food and fish processing industry, which will allow domestic producers of fish processing facilities and equipment to develop production and provide the fishing industry with machines and equipment of high quality in the “war of sanctions”. Russian East, as well as Russian Union of Commodity Producers plans to develop cooperation with the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District, spoke the President of the PCT Soskovets. He suggested a number of initiatives that will favor the development of the fishing industry.

Secondly, it is suggested to introduce state subsidies (encouragement) in the assessment of the quotas of marine biological resources catch, which use a closed, non-waste production cycle that will encourage as update of fishing companies’ technology park, so increase respect for the environment of the fishing industry as a whole.

Thirdly, Soskovets suggested introducing a mandatory procedure for foreign companies acquisition of fish and seafood, caught only in the Russian economic zone, through a system of electronic exchange trading with mandatory obtaining of certificate of quality and an independent audit of the products quality, which will allow to counteract the illegal catching and "gray schemes "in the production of marine biological resources, and also will favor the development of this sector of the economy.

The delegation of the RUCP held a number of business negotiations and meetings, including the meeting with the vice-governor of Primorsky Krai Sergei Sidorenko, during which they discussed the issue of increasing the presence of the Russian Union of Commodity Producers in the Primorsky Krai, particularly in development projects of the exchange technologies in the trade of aquatic biological resources.

Soskovets also gave an interview to a leading regional media, visited the Far Eastern fish market and summed up the results of the competition "The best delicacy of the Year", which was attended by major fishing and fish processing companies of the Far East of Russia. It is based in the contest conducted by the RUCP supported by ZAO " Dalnevostochnaya rybnaya birja " and OOO "Center razvitya investitsiy," was taken fish salmon caviar, which has been evaluated both in vitro and in the form of tasting. The contest winner was the company "Koryakmoreprodukt", whose representative has received a cup and a diploma of the winner of the hands of the President of the RUCP. As the part of summing up the contest, it was noted that not all the samples presented by competitors were of high quality, that shows the relevance of such measures and the need to improve the quality of seafood produced by the industry, which contributed by the work of a stock exchange, because products offered for sale are fully tested at an independent examination quality.

"I am convinced that the work of the RUCP delegation in Vladivostok will give new urge to the development of business in the Far East and Primorsky Krai, including that in the field of extraction and processing of marine biological resources, as this sector of the economy is one of the key to our region " - stressed Sergei Lelyukhin. - "Involvement of enterprises and public organizations of the Far East in the span of the Russian Union of Commodity Producers activity certainly will help both their development and the economic recovery of the region as a whole, especially because of the" war of sanctions” and events in Ukraine, the fish food industry of the Far East can play a role of the largest importreplacement and provide Russians withenvironmentally friendly, high-quality and healthy food. Suggestions, put forward by Oleg Soskovets during the Congress and concerning the fishing industry in the near future may significantly change it’s work towards improving the quality of products and the efficiency of the business as a whole "- stressed Sergey Egorovich.
