Joint project of Saint-Petersburg Exchange JSC and Far East Auction Fish House JSC on sale of aquatic bioresources shows cooperation potential of enterprises from the northern capital with Far Eastern partners, in the opinion of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East.

The Far East can become a place of entry to markets of countries of APR. Petersburg, in its turn, can assist in attraction of investors. The northern capital possesses great experience and is ready to share it. Within the frames of the agreement it is also planned to assist Petersburg enterprises, ready to work in the east of the country, including in the conditions of territories of priority development”, said Aleksandr Galushka. – “We offer Petersburg business to come to the Far East”.

Georgy Poltavchenko, in his turn, noted that signing the document facilitates further development of economic relations between Petersburg and Far Eastern enterprises. Following results of the tender, contracts for the sum of 22 million rubles were made. As the first tender has shown, final price established for 1 kg of humpback salmon was 71.5-73.5 rubles, while wholesale market price for the analogous products sold via intermediaries was 130 rubles on the auction day.
