It was noted that the project, implemented by ZAO "Dalnevostochnaya rybnaya birja" on the basis of the trading system of ZAO " Birja Sankt-Peterburg", represented in Russia a unique opportunity of creating a single retail space of living aquatic resources in the interest of both traders and ordinary consumers.
The real-time exchange transaction was conducted by the sale of living aquatic resources; lot was fresh salmon caviar of Pacific catch. The seller was one of the largest companies in the Far East of Russia - ZAO "Koryakmoreprodukt." According to the president of ZAO FEFM and ADMSFPSE Sergei Lelyukhin, event proved the relevance of the Far Eastern fish market and its demand for the fishing industry of the Far East of Russia and the whole business of the country. The next day, the theme of trading of living aquatic resources was discussed at the round table "Development of non-oil exports as a means of combating IUU fishing", held within the framework of the IX International Congress of fishermen. The FEFM President Sergei Lelyukhin introduced in his report the electronic exchange platform as a means of combating illegal fishing of aquatic biological resources. The speech aroused a lively discussion, during which they expressed opposite views on the subject.
