The “Far Eastern Fish Exchange” organized a seminar in Vladivostok on the electronic marine biological resources trading

The "Far Eastern Fish Exchange", CJSC, and "St. Petersburg Exchange" organized a free seminar called "Introduction to the basics of exchange marine biological resources trading and training to work in the TradEx electronic exchange system". More than 20 major fishing companies of the Russian Far East took part in it, including such "whales" of the regional fishing industry as "Nakhodka Active Marine Fishery Base", JSC, "Collective Fishing Farm" Vostok-1 ", CJSC, "Okeanrybflot", "Preobrazhenie base of trawling and refrigeration fleet (PBTF)", CJS, "Tehnoprom-DV", "Russian Sea-Production","Goldenfish"," Russian fishing world" and many more.

According to Sergey Lelyukhin, president of the "Far Eastern Fish Exchange", CJSC, the seminar was of non-commercial nature due to the project partners' – The "Far Eastern Fish Exchange" CJSC and "St. Petersburg Exchange", CJSC, - decision. The main purpose of the seminar was to introduce participants of the Far Eastern Fish Exchange to the theoretical knowledge of the electronic exchange trading, including practical work skills in today's electronic trading system. Work in the TradEX system, which is one of the universal and widely used systems in the world, was taken as the basis in the course of the seminar.

Unified electronic marine biological resources trading platform was established by the "St. Petersburg Exchange", CJSC, and the "Far Eastern Fish Exchange", CJSC, with the support of Federal Fisheries Agency and "Rosselkhozbank", JSC. It began its work in May 2014, and since then the system of electronic exchange trading has had a number of successful buying and selling transactions of the products caught in the Pacific ocean by the fleet of the Russian Far East fishing companies.

Sergey Leluhin Said that as a result of training participants achieved trading skills including making selling or buying submissions of marine biological recourses using online exchange. Also they had possibility to negotiate with experts and get answers for their questions. Participants were presented with demonstration of how online exchange works and with all up-to-date tools of trading. Live negotiations came up from questions about fish auctions, logistics, and inspections of quality. All the guests admitted advantages of TradEX system it’s fast bidding, safety and transparency.
